The Porsche Carrera GT is a Hot Wheels casting based on the production vehicle of the same name. While the die-cast model debuted in the 2006 First Editions, the full size production vehicle was first revealed as a concept at the 2001 Paris Auto Salon. The vehicle was extremely well received, and was given a green light for production.
