1967 Chevrolet Impala SS 1:24 Jada











El Chevrolet Impala es un automóvil producido por el fabricante estadounidense Chevrolet desde 1958 para el mercado norteamericano. El primer Impala fue presentado en la exhibición Motorama de la General Motors en 1956. Estas versiones mostraban su nueva línea de vehículos para el año próximo. En 1956, el Motorama Car Show pasó por Nueva York, Miami, Los Ángeles, San Francisco y Boston. Este primer Impala era un coupé para cuatro pasajeros, con "un fuerte sabor a Corvette", que fue llamado "Corvette Impala". El coche de demostración fue hecho con carrocería de fibra de vidrio, como el Corvette.
Este coche toma su nombre de un mamífero artiodáctilo llamado impala.
El Chevrolet Impala fue presentado como coche situado en la parte superior de la línea del modelo Bel Air. El primer Impala apareció en el otoño de 1957 como modelo 1958 y fue un gran éxito. Fue ofrecido como coupé y descapotable, con una imagen deportiva. El Impala era 9 pulgadas (22,9 cm) más largo, 4 pulgadas (10,2 cm) más ancho y 2 pulgadas (5,1 cm) más bajo que los modelos Bel Air anteriores. El diseñador Harley Earl había propuesto una evolución hacia un coche más largo, más bajo y más ancho, aunque esto era un salto en el diseño. El nuevo Impala ofrecía algunas opciones consideradas emocionantes en su época. Vino con el nuevo motor V8 con una cilindrada de 348 plgs³ (5,7 L) y el sistema de suspensión Air-Level. Con el nuevo motor, el Impala era mucho más rápido que anteriores Chevys y con el nuevo sistema de suspensión tenía una conducción más suave que antes. Uno de los cambios más relevantes era el nuevo diseño del chasis con forma de X. Según Chevrolet, este chasis aportaba mayor rigidez al coche, haciendo que tuviera un mejor comportamiento en carretera. El nuevo Impala vino con decoraciones de cromo en los tableros de la puerta e instrumentos y un volante de estilo deportivo. Con esto se pretendía que el Impala pareciera un coche más lujoso que el Bel Air.

2000 Dodge Intrepid R/T Ray Evernham NASCAR 1:24 Action Racing











The No. 19 car was Evernham Motorsports' first foray into racing in the Cup series. It debuted in the 2000 Chevrolet Monte Carlo 400 at Richmond International Raceway as the No. 19 Motorola-sponsored Ford with 20-year-old Busch Series driver Casey Atwood as the driver. In that race, the car scored a 19th-place finish. The abbreviated season was capped off by Atwood's tenth-place finish at Homestead that year.
For Evernham's full-time debut in 2001, Atwood was named as the driver of the 19 car, teammate to Bill Elliott in the No. 9. The team was part of Dodge's return into NASCAR, with Dodge Dealers sponsoring the entire season. The year was off to a sluggish start when Atwood failed to qualify at the spring Atlanta race, but picked up steam towards the end of the year, winning the pole at Phoenix International Raceway, and almost winning the Homestead race before relinquishing the lead to teammate Elliott late in the race. Atwood barely missed wrestling the rookie of the year crown away from Kevin Harvick, despite Harvick finishing much higher in the points (ninth) and winning twice.

1998 Hummer H1 Revell Monogram 1:25 Soft Top










The Hummer H1 is a four-wheel-drive utility vehicle based on the M998 Humvee, which was created by AM General. The vehicle was produced from 1992 through 2006, and was the first of what became the Hummer line. Originally designed strictly for military use, the off-road vehicle was released to the civilian market due to market demand. It was initially known as the "Hummer"; however, under a 1999 deal, GM bought marketing rights to the Hummer name and called the vehicle the Hummer H1. At the time, GM began marketing the Hummer H2 that was also assembled by AM General on a modified GMC 2500HD chassis. AM General continued to build the H1 and Humvee in its Mishawaka, Indiana facility. GM stopped marketing the H1 in 2006 model year, but AM General continued production of the military Humvee versions.

1981 Firebird Trans-Am Coors Bandit Choppers












The effect of Smokey and the Bandit on the pop culture landscape went far beyond what could have been imagined back in 1977. After 30 years, multiple sequels, a made-for-TV spinoff, and the retirement of Pontiac, even non-movie car fans still associate the character "Bandit" with black & gold second generation Firebirds. In 2005, customizer Jesse James had achieved fame on the Discovery Channel's Monster Garage and was asked by the Coors brewing company (makers of the contraband featured in the first film) to build a special tribute car as the grand prize in a contest they were running. The result was the "Coors Bandit," a 1980 Firebird featuring combination scissor doors, a racing interior, West Coast Chopper 3-piece wheels, and a 700 horsepower engine with ProCharger induction. The contest was promoted through a series of limited edition 6-packs and a 1/24 scale replica of the car sold exclusively at Wal*Mart.
