El Jaguar E-Type, conocido en Estados Unidos como el Jaguar XK-E, es un automóvil deportivo producido por el fabricante inglés Jaguar Cars entre los años 1961 y 1975. Fue exhibido en el Salón del Automóvil de Ginebra en marzo de 1961. La buena recepción del E-Type evocó el lanzamiento realizado en Inglaterra, en 1948, del modelo XK120. Pocas semanas después, hacía acto de presencia en el Salón del Automóvil de Nueva York. Las revistas británicas especializadas del automóvil habían organizado varias pruebas con los prototipos de pre-lanzamiento.

En su lanzamiento el 15 de marzo de 1961,​ Enzo Ferrari lo llamó "el automóvil más bello jamás fabricado". En 2004, la revista Sports Car International colocó al E-Type en el número uno de su lista de los mejores autos deportivos de la década de 1960.​ En marzo de 2008, el Jaguar E-Type ocupó el primer lugar en la lista en línea de The Daily Telegraph de los "100 autos más hermosos" del mundo de todos los tiempos.

El E-Type fue introducido como un Gran Turismo de tracción trasera en la forma de un biplaza "Fixed Head Coupé" (FHC) o como un roadster "Open Two Seater" (OTS). Una versión del cupé con cuatro asientos "2+2", con una batalla alargada, fue presentado varios años más tarde.

El E-Type llegaba al mercado con la difícil misión de reemplazar a los exitosos XK120, XK140 y XK150, con dos tipos de carrocería: roadster y cupé. Sus líneas fueron una creación del diseñador británico Malcolm Sayer, quien aprovechó sus amplios conocimientos en aerodinámica, producto de sus exitosas experiencias en aeronáutica, para crear una silueta limpia y aerodinámicamente eficiente.

Actualizaciones posteriores del modelo fueron oficialmente designadas como la "Serie 2" y "Serie 3" y, al pasar del tiempo, a los coches anteriores se les han referido como la "Serie 1". Como sucede con los coches de la época hechos parcialmente a mano, los cambios fueron incrementales y continuas, los cuales habían llevado a la confusión sobre qué es exactamente un coche de la Serie 1. Esto es más que un interés académico, ya que los de la Serie 1, particularmente los roadsters, frecuentemente tienden a ser más valorados que los modelos de la Serie 2 y 3.

1962 Ferrari 250 GTO 1:64 Hot Wheels

El Ferrari 250 GTO es un automóvil deportivo y de competición construido por Ferrari entre los años 1962 y 1964; es considerado como uno de los mejores automóviles de alto rendimiento construido y actualmente (2019), el más caro del mundo.
El número 250 hace referencia a la capacidad en centímetros cúbicos, de cada cilindro del motor. Las siglas GTO significan en italiano: "Gran Turismo Omologata" (Gran Turismo Homologado).
En 2004, la revista Sports Car International nombró al 250 GTO número 8 en la lista de "Mejores Automóviles Deportivos" de los años 1960, y en la lista de los mejores automóviles deportivos de todos los tiempos. Del mismo modo, la revista Motor Trend Classic nombró al 250 GTO como número 1 en su lista de los "Grandes Ferraris de todos los tiempos".

The Chevrolet Bel Air is a full-size car that was produced by Chevrolet for the 1950–1975 model years. Initially, only the two-door hardtops in the Chevrolet model range were designated with the Bel Air name from 1950 to 1952. With the 1953 model year, the Bel Air name was changed from a designation for a unique body shape to a premium level of trim applied across a number of body styles. The Bel Air continued with various other trim level designations, and it went from a mid-level trim car to a budget fleet sedan when U.S. production ceased in 1975. Production continued in Canada, for its home market only, through the 1981 model year.

The Chevrolet Bel Air, especially its third generation design, has been considered an icon of the 1950s. Well-maintained and preserved examples are highly sought after by car collectors and enthusiasts.

1998 Volkswagen Golf Mk4 Rally Burago 1:24

The Volkswagen Golf Mk3 is a compact car/small family car, the third generation of the Volkswagen Golf and the successor to the Volkswagen Golf Mk2, which was produced by Volkswagen from August 1991 (for the 1992 model year) to 2002 (for cabrio convertible). It was launched in mainland Europe in August 1991, in the United Kingdom in February 1992, and in North America in the spring of 1994. The delay in North America was due to Volkswagen's decision to supply U.S. and Canadian dealerships with Mk3 Golfs (and A3 Jettas) from the VW plant in Puebla, Mexico. Quality control problems led Volkswagen of America to reject Golfs and Jettas from Mexico; shortly thereafter labor unrest at the plant delayed production there even further. The third-generation Golf and Jetta first appeared in North America as 1993 models in the San Diego, California area and in Canada, then in the autumn in the rest of North America as 1995 models. The Mk3 Cabrio replaced the Volkswagen Cabriolet, which continued the original Golf until 1994, although the original Golf, sold as Rabbit in the United States and Canada ceased sales in 1984. The Mk3 Cabrio continued until the 2002 model year, when Volkswagen replaced it with a convertible version of the Volkswagen New Beetle. Like the previous two generations, it was supposed to be built at the TAS factory in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. However, when the car was first released, the Yugoslav War broke out, leading to the destruction of the factory. Thanks to this, TAS went bankrupt in 1995. This meant it was the only Golf before the Mk4 not to be built in Bosnia and Herzegovina, although a single Mk3 managed to roll off the assembly line in Sarajevo, its fate being unknown. The Mk3 was sold in Japan alongside the Polo, where both vehicles were in compliance with Japanese Government dimension regulations that encouraged sales. A 1993 UK advert featured the Bluebells song Young At Heart which resulted in a 4-week spell at Number 1 thanks to the popularity of it.

The Volkswagen Golf Mk3 was replaced with the October 1997 (model year 1998) introduction of the Volkswagen Golf Mk4.
